Helen received a Doctorate in Education for research into the knowledge-based economy, leadership, values and ethics; and evaluating executive coaching as a executive learning tool. She has published several academic papers in the area of KM and is an internationally recognised lecturer and facilitator, having worked in Australia, America, London and The Netherlands.

Knowledge Cafe - A First for the Southern Hemisphere

In 2006, AKN Director, Helen Paige, was appointed Regional Director of David Gurteen Knowledge Cafes. The Adelaide K-Café is the first Gurteen K-Café to be established outside of England and New York.

K-Cafés are designed to bring people together to engage in dialogue over issues of common interest with the intent to learn from each other; gain a deeper insight into the topics discussed and to better understand other people's perspectives.

These Cafés are now run across the globe, taking place in the US, England, Russia, Norway, Indonesia and Australia.
